9 Volt Battery Flash Drive
So I got bored a little bit ago and decided to do something fun.
Ingredients:
1 1gb Flash Drive
1 9 volt battery
1 needle nose pliers
3 packing peanuts
1 knife

Using the pliers I opened up the 9volt battery and pulled out the guts(6 small AAA batteries). I took the piece of cardboard from the back end and cut a slot for the USB plug to fit into. Then I pulled the terminals from the battery pack and put the terminals back in using a tad bit of super glue, which didn't hold.
Then I opened up the flashdrive case and took out the circuits. I split 2 packing peanuts partically in half to fit the flash drive inside. I cut the third peanut in half and crammed it into the battery case, to hold the terminals in.

Sorry for the blurry picture.

I then stuffed the drive with the peanuts into the case and closed up the ends.

Viola!
It turned out nice. I looked on Google and didn't see anyone else doing this, so I figured I'd see how it went.
I think I'll go back and replace the soft packing peanuts with hard styrofoam. When I put it into the computer it moves around too much. I'll also close it up cleaner and perhaps paint the scratches. I also want to add an LED into the terminals that lights up when its in use.
