some of those guy's were using roids way before the strike in 1996
in jose book he claims he started using Roids in the minors

if by homerun hitter you mean someone who hit 25-30 homeruns then yes, you're correct. But by no means was he the power hitter he is now. Anyone who thinks he got that big by merely working out is kidding themselves

I agree with you whole heartedly. Baseball turned a blind eye because balls were going out of the park and ticket sales were going through the roof following a strike. They were happy to be selling tickets let alone selling out stadiums

Pretty sure it wasn't a banned substance. Maybe I'm just thinking it wasn't tested for, which is fucking RETARDED if it's not legal.

there was no standardized testing for it. Only after Jose wrote his book and Congress pressured the MLB did they finally start testing for it and start handing down penalties

everyone keeps bringing this up after quoting me and I never said that he didn't use steroids nor did I think got that big working out alone. although it's not completely impossible.
