Just took my Preliminary PT Test
Since I leave for Basic next week, I have to take a Preliminary PT test to see where I'm at.
For a male, I had to do 13 push-ups in a minute, and 17 sit-ups in a minute and a mile in 8:30. I wasn't too worried about much, but still mildly nervous.
6 months ago, I could do like 10 push-ups, 25 sit-ups and like a 10 minute mile.
Today I did 24 push-ups, 40 sit-ups and a mile in 8:02. Although it's not a perfect day...it's way better than where I started from. So I'm pretty proud.
Anybody else noticing improvements in their workout?

I've been trying to run a mile every few nights but I'm NEVER motivated. And I can only go about a quarter before my lungs start to hurt. My legs NEVER hurt...its always my lungs/chest. :dunno:
Last night I just did a 1/2 mile :lazy:

if you don't meet the preliminary requirements I thought they put you in a special PT group until you can do it.
I'm actually looking forward to basic, I'm hoping to work up to the physical requirements you need to finish before I actually go.
