Craftsman Warranty?
Borrow one from Auto Zone. If you do the work in their lot, all you have to do is hand them a credit/debit card and your ID, and they'll let you use it for free.
I did it the other day with an OBDII scanner for my gf's car. Used it in the parking lot, and gave it back. No deposit or anything.

so lets just say, i used his tools
I don't know when's the last time any of you returned craftsman tools to sears but my wife used to work there...they were asking for a receipt for returns...I bought a tool set not too long ago, kept the receipt just in case
I remember watching some hot rod show. They were trying to tighten a bolt and couldn't get to it. One of the low down noobs grabbed a wrench, took a blow torch to it and bent it to a right angle. He tightened the bolt as they yelled at him for ruining a wrench. He returned about 30 minutes later with a brand new one that he traded in for.
that's weird. i've brought back many tools and it's always no questions asked.
