Default Time for upgrade? any suggestions?

My car is having problems which I don't think I want to deal with it anymore (96 e36 with 150k miles). I'm considering another car, what do you suggest?

I only have a few requirements,

probably used but relatively a new model (preferably under 20k or so)
reliable
no fwd
something easy to look at and sporty
easy on the gas (meaning no big trucks)

so far I have 2 that I'm considering,

used sk2
used 350z

With 20K you have a LOT of options.

Try to find a used WRX or something.

350z's gas mileage isnt that great. mixed highway/city(about 70%/30%) i used to get anywhere between 18-20mpg in my g35 (same motor as the 350z). my friend gets about 22mpg in his 350z doing 90% highway driving. and for comparison, my s2k gets 23-25mpg on the same commute that my g35 got 18-20mpg.

I actually don't mind the gas mileage on the 350z much since my sister drives a g35 and I know it isn't bad for a car like that. (I like the g35 much better than the Z though)

any known problems with the s2ks?
the only reason that keeps me from buying the s2k is that I have 2 friends with the same car, and there are actually quite many here in socal

I honestly don't care much for a high power car, it has a rather cheap looking interior, no?

yeh, I should put that as one of the requirements:
no cheap looking interior

If you don't want a cheap looking interior cross off the Z on your list....
