Default So yeah..DMV

It blows major goat ass.

As I was pulling in there was a rig parked in the road blocking one lane of traffic so my direction was stopped to allow the other direction to clear. Some dipshit kid taking his license test in a 540i BMW decides to come around the corner passing us instead of waiting in line like everyone else. I honked and flipped him off asking the test giver what the fuck he thought he was doing.

The kid got his license anyways and I sat across from the dipshit while waiting.

So 2 hours later I am starving and pissed, paperwork was filled out hours ago and I have set a new high score on the games on my phone. My number is called and after a whopping 5 minutes and $13 I walk out with my new plate and a lust for sitting in a clocktower across the street.

Yeah, how was your day?

Nope I am currently in negotiations on one though.

I had to replace the plate on my trailer. The guy who stole the trailer tossed the one I had originally and I need it if I am going to drive to Reno with it in tow.

Sure does...but not if I want the plate on my trailer by Friday so I can hit the road and be back by Sunday

Takes a week before they send the plate to you if you go online and this is replacing a stolen plate, not plating a new vehicle so it is a bit different.

Someone should copy the "Vote from the rooftop" shirt and make it "Complain from the rooftop."

Or as I like to call it "Satan's Asshole!"

I hate the DMV most of the time.

I ran no plates for the first 6 months I had the trailer. The laws here are real lax on trailer licensing so you can get away with it for quite a while. I have to pass through Cali and enter Nevada and neither of those two states is real lenient about these kinds of things
