Default I feel more retarded than usual

I changed the P/S pump on my woman's 99 Cavalier 2.2 this weekend. It was kind of a bitch, had to take the passenger side motor mount off.

Anyway, she called me this morning all frantic and saying how there was this horrible noise coming from her engine. She was totally freaking out about it so we talked about getting her a newer car that isn't a Cavalier...I figured she had a bad lifter or something.

So she calls me at lunchtime:

"Hey, I fixed the problem..."
"Oh, great, what was it?"
"You left a pair of pliers in my engine and they were rattling off the serpentine belt"
":hsugh:"

And then she came home and there I was standing there holding her motor mount.

h: Whenever I work on friend's cars I actually make them sign a waiver unless they help me the entire time. I will work on cars for beer and the understanding of no liability :usa:

on another note, i've left a couple of things in my gf's crv's engine bay.

channel locks and hose pinchers (the big kind, same size as channel locks, clamped on to coolant return hose on the throttle body), for a few weeks. did i tell her?

no :rick:
