I've never left shit on/in my engine bay... I always check

however, I have left sockets on suspension parts :doh:

 

I left a socket in my engine bay of my teg for about 4-5k. I never noticed it when I would open the hood. It was sitting right up front where the hood latch was. It never rattled or anything. When I found it I was shocked. I left it in when I had changed my plugs one time. I was wondering where I lost it.

 

my cousin did an oil change once and didnt realize the o-ring from the old filter was still stuck on the block. put the new filter on, started the car up, and oil started shooting out. had to go buy more oil and clean up a huge mess. :chuckles:

now i always make sure there's nothing on the mating surface whenever i do a change.
