Sounds like Glock left a bad taste in your mouth John. I won't quote all your other posts but come on. Cheap people? 350 for a Glock vs 600 for an XD? I can pick up either one for less than 500 easily. Hell, I can go pick up an XD40 right now for 350. Does that mean it sucks because it's cheaper than a Glock 22 that I could find?

I understand that you've had some issues with Glocks you've owned but millions of people haven't. That's why they're so popular. It's not because they're cheap. It's because they go bang when you pull the trigger.

I actually picked up a gun to share with my pops. He's an armed guard so and they only allow US Made pistols for govt. contracted security.

So we picked this up

Smith and Wesson M&P .40 Cal. It's actually a REALLY nice pistol. I've run almost 500 rounds through it myself since we got it last month. More specs here: http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore...TECH_SPECS.pdf

In fact, I was "playing" with it last night.

I'm still "aiming" for the xd-45. Prolly pick it up in the new year.
