Gun Krew v.1
I have owned a Glock 9 and the Glock 45 full frame.
Both had a consistent ratio of FTF and jam issues when putting 200 rounds through it. This is anything from bad clip/feed issues/ejection/heating up etc.
I just wasn't impressed and it is not something I would let my life depend on.

you like the way the XD feels and shoots? end of story those are 2 of the most important factors in purchasing a gun. the most important is reliability and in that department Springfield also wins. I agree with John, Glocks feel and shoot like ass. People just like Glock because it's one of the few names they've heard.

Yeah I shot the SA through 50 rounds of reloads and not one jam or hiccup.

Me I look at the SA and save up for it...many, if not a majority just buy the Glock and don't know any better and then proclaim it as the best because they shoot 30 rounds every other month through it.

Not only is it one they have heard but most people are cheap and thats why Glock has so many guns sold, a $350 Glock or a $600 SA...which one would you be more inclined to look at?

I'm getting the XD. It's the one I originally wanted anyways. Everyone at the store was like Glock this and Glock that, but SA's guns are lifetime warranty and the magazines loaded way cleaner.
Do you know if they make lefty guns? I know they have the ambidextrous mag release, but the slide release is on the wrong side for me.
SOLD.

I am sure they make a lefty model but you may have to special order it.

just teach yourself to hit the slide and mag release with your index finger, I've read that it's actually pretty handy for lefties
I was just looking on http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/21 and the glocks seem to be comparably priced with the springfield XDs :dunno:

I didn't even realize I was a lefty shooter till sunday.. Doesn't come up so often you know?
I write left, but can mouse both, scissor both. But the stronger arm is my right. I even bat right handed and golf right handed and catch and throw right handed, but I guess I'm just all fucked up.
It was funny loading the mag, then switching hands to release the slide, then switching to shoot.
