What model is the Glock with the streamlight Mike? It looks like a 23 or one of the midsize models. I have the 22 with the streamlight and the 27 with the +1 extenders

I havent had any problems with my Glock. The 27 hasnt had that many rounds put through it but the 22 has seen plenty. I carried it everyday on duty. Never misfired on me at the range. The magazines arent full steel like other models but never had problems with them either. From what I've seen people either are head over heels in love with Glocks or they hate them. There seems to be no real middle ground. Most people I have met in law enforcement praise them:dunno:

actually I have a ruger P90, honestly it's a loose POS the slide rattles around like mad. It's never failed to feed but I can't hit the broad side of a barn with it anyway I actually shot better with the .45 Llama that the ruger replaced.

Looks like its tax free.

That and the kimber came out to 1260+35 shipping = 1300 + 100 ffl (I'm just guessing) 1400.

Not bad at all!!!! WAAAAY cheaper than buying in store here.

Call around, everyone will have a different price. I do remember seeing a list of FFL holders who would do transfers. I think it was on http://www.gunsamerica.com/ but I can't seem to find it.

The Springfield is a better gun than the Glock. The XD line rivals H&K in quality at a lower price. My favorite pistol that I've shot was a Kimber 1911 .45...but they're bank. I might be picking up an XD in the future, just don't know if I'm going to go .45 or 9mm. I haven't liked the feel of the Glocks that I have shot before. They are by no means bad guns, but they aren't as good as the Springfields. If you liked the way the XD felt and shot, then that's the one you should get.

Don't worry about the slide release being on the wrong side, it's not a huge deal. Being left handed sucks when it comes to shotguns though.

Personally, you cant really lose with those options. Glocks really arent as bad as this thread made them to be. You can always get a couple of bad apples in each batch.

I dont know where you pull a $7xx for an XD! Thats a freaking rip.

But anyway, by far, I would pick up the .45 XD...

I own a Ruger P94. Its the first handgun I've shot and the first handgun I've owned. Its a cool piece, but it has its share of flaws.

I agree with Will. Anyhow, it's all about how it feels and also accuracy. I'm still up in the air about what I want. I learned on the glock 17 and also shot the best with it over all the others this past Sunday.
That kimber, though, gave me a mega boner
