Can you tell me why the HK over the SA or Glock? I know the Glock has WAY more aftermarket support, but I was convinced after reading the XD torture test and shooting it.

Wasn't the 1911 already rented out so you couldn't try it anyhow?

I just like the way it shoots.

Don't get me wrong, Glocks are great. I have a Glock 23. and your right, there is tons of aftermarket parts available.

The HK will put up to far more abuse than the Glock ever will.

When you are talking about a gun you have to figure it is being used when all else has failed, the last thing you want is a FTF in a bad situation or some other failure.

Glocks are fine and all but I would not put my life in it's build simply because it has aftermarket support. The reason it has so much support is because most of it is to fix the failures it comes from at the factory level.
