I ran twice today. The first time was just a mile... but this time was a little more. I am still getting back into the stride of things so my pace is slower cause of pauses.

My calves are perm flexed. I'm going to be hurting tomorrow

Yeah I have started using interval training on my runs so my pace will be a bit slow for this challenge but by the end of it my muscle endurance should be way up and my average pace should be considerably higher as well.

It'll be interesting to see how everyone progresses. I used to run 3 miles in 20:56 when I was in the Corps.

I'm considerably slower now... but I hope to get back up there.

Thats a good goal. It shouldn't be a problem.

Yea. Consistent 7 min miles are tough. But end of summer should get me back there.

Anyone else have any goals set yet? I know John you said 100miles in 8 weeks.

i only have 25 days till vacation, and since I thought this was a 100miles in 30 day thing, its my goal to do it in 25. I sucked today @ 2 miles. Tomorrow I am going in the morning and the evening. I need to make up for lost mileage today and for the 5 days I lost due to vacation.

Yeah, this is gonna suck, I wonder if I can do it.
