Default Workout question

Bulking up and muscle is not really my concern, but Im focused more or less in general body fat loss. Now is it true that when you lose body fat, that it does not come from a targeted area, but from all over? Point being, I like using the aerobics machines such as the treadmill, bike, and stair steppers.. I also like swimming laps.

Does that make any sense?

When you run and don't lift you lose muscle then fat, and yes you will lose weight "all over"

Belly fat is typically the first to come and last to go, just fyi. You cannot target fat loss at all.

Get a good all-around program going, and don't forget to switch it up. The muscles need to be shocked every now and then with new routines.

Yea I figured that much. I got access to my College's gym for free since I graduated (in-door track, free weights, machines, bikes, etc.....). Gonna start hitting the gym on Monday morning and looking for a good routine to follow.

Haven't hit the gym in about 2 yrs soooooo it's gonna be a gradual thing at first. If I lift Monday morning, the next day I should do cardio, then a day off, then arms? What do you usually do?
