would you trust Vizio? My price range for a TV is 1k-2k for a TV, and a requirment is it must have 1080p. Vizio has a 47in 1080p for right around $1600. I'm also intrested in the Samsung, Sharp, and Sony LCD 1080p TVs that are 40-42in screens that hovering right around 2K. I'm curious if you guys would trust Vizio, or if you guys think its worth a few extra hundred for a better name brand? I'm still leaning towards the slightly smaller Samsungs right now.

well having seen both sony lcd and projection both were XBR I like LCD wayyyy better.
specially the new XBR2/3 LCDs. the one thing that really really annoys me about projection is the viewing angle both horizontal and vertical. it's pretty shitty compared to LCD/plasma/CRT
