i use symantec corporate :hsdunno:

ive always had good luck with that, and yea the reason its a fresh lappy and i only use certain sites, is i got a trojan that i had to reformat because of and i am not going through that again.

Might want to get something better, I got virus' with McAffee/Symantec (Norton)

what about AVG?

i use the symantec because thats what the company gives me but i also have AVG available to me...

not sure check the ratings through google. "best antivirus" or something should net you some good results.

avg is good if you have an older system because it has a pretty small footprint. Doesn't have spyware protection but if you take care of your computer and aren't installing lots of random programs thats not a problem. For me spyware and all that other "internet security" is just a waste of my memory and CPU.

I have a older dell and I noticed it ran a lot better when I went from Norton to AVG free. if you get the paid version it includes spyware and all the other stuff.

iirc, the number 1 rated antivirus was Kaspersky for finding identified viruses, and NOD32 for funding unindentified ones.

yea we have the paid version on our server somewhere...i just have to find it...or call the girl and tell her to ship it over to me

guess ill do that monday

Yeah I'm using nod32 at the moment, very minimal interface wise but also very non-resource hogging.
