Will work, done it. You have to get a socket thats just barely smaller than the funky pattern and hammer away. Works well, but a bit hard to describe.

sawsall, torch, or just snap that stud off and replace all of which should work fine h:

id have no qualms about bustin some studs off when i have a bent rim and it wont come off

What's a decent electric impact wrench? I wouldn't want the air cause then i'd have to get a compressor too. Enough for removing lug nuts, or wheel locks in my situation.
