Not miles on the car itself, but rather on the new engine/tranny going in. Ive put 15kmiles on this in less than a year. DD is the Merc.

i wish you the best of luck dude... but thinking a 35 year old car and expecting to put +10Kmiles per year and not be a money pit, cause is was well maintained... good luck.

Dude althought we had a 1986 560 SEL that was well maintained and towards the end it was a money pit. Just in gas it will rape you.

Yeah uh, good luck with that man. :rofl:

I would have gotten something newer. I picked up a 1989 Acura Legend for $500 with 157K on it, body was rotted to shit but ran for a full year for me, then I sold it and it's still running for my buddy 2 years later without any problems whatsoever.
