I can do 9800 on mine without hurting it I was told I was safe to 10200 but no way I am going to test it.

B series in an Accord :chuckles: what a waste.

H swaps in pretty direct but you need the motor mounts for the lude and a grinder to shave the drivers side engine mount a hair (if I remember right). Run the VTEC solenoid wires, wire up the ECU and attach exhaust.

Probably one of the easier swaps out there.

A B18 in a Prelude isn't the easiest thing to do. I'll get my gf to email me the pics off my pc at home. Just had to get a shop to make me some one off mounts. Then a crapola of wiring, yanked the fuel system from a 97 GSR and some welding with the front sub frame. One other person has done the swap to my knowledge. The B20 kept overheating and come to find out the block is cracked. so it was either trash the car, do the popular H22 swap, or have fun and screw with the B18 from my POS GSR.

Im amazed how easy the H swap is in the Accord. I'll be back from Las Vegas in a few weeks and I'll contact the guy about the Accord. Id like to get a header but thats about all i really want to do outside of a clutch. My friend Hung said he removed the balancer from his H22 in his 95 Civic? Not all to familiar with what that is and HOW it would be a good thing lol

Removing the balancer? You mean from the flywheel? If so then that is stupid as fuck and when your flywheel shatters on you I hope you enjoy the potential of picking the pieces out of your leg.

The one with Vtak

H22 is an H22 IMO. You can get early model closed deck or late model open deck and both are fine. Don't pay extra for the "JDM" model because it isn't anything special at all, just has a different valve cover for the most part.

HAHA LMAO

I just didnt knw what options I had as far as H22 goes. Of course there are differences in B18's so thats why i asked. can u elaborate on some pros and cons on a closed deck versus an open deck. You kinda lost me there.
