our first gen ps2 has only recently began to have disk read errors after almost 6 years of constant use :hsdunno:
I Agree with reno on this one... My PS2 failed after 4 months of minor use. Sony ftmfl.
As for Apple, I've never had any issues with their products because, as a smart consumer, I have made a conscious decision not to purchase anything from them. Other than my very first computer, an Apple IIE. My Ipod was free.

I am one of the biggest Apple geeks on HAN, but I refuse to buy an ipod due to the whole battery deal. They bent over everyone who bought one on the battery issue. My Treo 650 with real player does fine
