The iPod battery dies after a while, this is a well known fact.

I Agree with reno on this one... My PS2 failed after 4 months of minor use. Sony ftmfl.

As for Apple, I've never had any issues with their products because, as a smart consumer, I have made a conscious decision not to purchase anything from them. Other than my very first computer, an Apple IIE. My Ipod was free.

 

I try to get people to buy the 2yr replacement plan on their iPods, they don't believe me. 2 years seems to be the max life for those guys.

 

My sister has had hers for 2-3 years. :shrug: Its still working fine.

 

my buddy was doing a firmware upgrade when his ipod froze. he just bought another one :doh:.

 

i have to admit though, it's a cute way for something to crap out.

if you got it at costco you can just return for a new one
