dont be afraid of those domestic engine guys either. most of em have enough machine experience that would own noob import specialists. where do u think all the technology/innovation came from?

the only problem is that some of them wont touch imports, but the ones that i've run across through friends and colleagues at school, are pretty open minded, and have a great deal of respect for any car...most are just interested in creating reliable hp.

a honda block has specs and clearances just like any other engine in the world.

experience with brand is more important with head work, but even then its not that far off from other car marque's too.

I agree with you to an extent, but the sleeving process for a Honda block is much different than that of a domestic. Just be sure they are confident with aluminum blocks and have proper equipment. I would ask for a guarantee or warranty on sleeve walk.

hes warranties everything, as long i don't lose any of the paper work which won't be a problem.

Sounds like he's a good candidate. 15 LBS Street, & 40 LBS Track sounds good and all, but what kind of power are you planning for? What else do you have planned for the block? (Just Curious)

I'm with snoops, AEBS = Closed deck, and inferior cooling ability.
