The manufacturing process isn't perfect. You're lucky you have only 1 dead pixel.
Besides, if you try and complain about 1 pixel, the rep will just laugh at you. It has to be between 7-12 pixels (depending on company) and they have to be within a small window, not the entire screen (usually).
