I want mine cooked. Med-well for me.

 

I don't really like the texture of the meat below medium. All I can picture when it's rare-ish is the cow and how they killed it.

I order medium-rare and generally only order a steak in places where I know it'll be at the very minimum, reliably decent. Generally I think of Outback as reliably decent. Nothin special but they do it at least well enough that it's not just a blah slab of beef, and is actually elevated somewhere above that. But, I don't make a point of going to Outback, usually somewhere that's a few steps above that.

 

med. rare is almost burnt? i dont get it....

med. rare for me...i dont like to eat it beyond med. well

I only like a little bit of the juice. It depends on the cut though. Some of your thinner Sirloin strips can be more on the medium side and still be really good.

 

Med-rare for me, why would you cook all the flavor out of it? :shrug:
