and as far as personal preference. If you are gonna cover up the real taste of the meat with a bunch of garbage, why bother spending the money on a Filet. Go buy yourself a Sirloin and ruin that.
i never said about marinating shit on a filet i said just a sprinkle of seasoning and that doesnt ruin the taste of a good steak or filet....its all personal preference , and if you get/cook/eat onions and mushrooms with your steak, are you ruining it then too...your the one rinsing your knife off between every cut of your steak...so what the fuck are you talking about

oh man, my friend used to steal filet mignons from his work and lobster tail. we would get baked and eat it for lunch.. did it for a week straight. practically soaked it in his homemade steak sauce, bbq sauce, hot sauce. :yumyum:

London Broil is good to marinate. Other than that, rare to medium rare on the filet mignon.

London Broil simply means thicker than a steak, thinner than a roast. Generally they are cut from Sirloin Tip (Knuckle between whole Round), or Top Round.
