the way i look at it (ive been out of the dating scene for a while), if a girl gives you her number she wants you to call her. the only way you could appear too desperate is if you call within a few hours, imo. the next day should be fine. :dunno:
Exactly. Waiting a specified amount of days can be kinda juvenile. If you want to call then call. If you want to play games bust out monopoly. She gave you the number so she's interested in you calling. Chicks know the waiting 2-3 days game. You end up looking like a player that way or a man who can't make any decisions on his own.

That's true, but the most successful course of action with 99% of women is to appear to not give a fuck. They build all these scenarios up in their head when you don't call, and more negative ones than good ones so that they're "not dissapointed" when you don't call. Of course, this is a lie to themselves and they're concentrating actually on the positive outcomes. When you do call after a couple days, like at least two, you've let the seeds germanate in her mind for all the positive and negative, and when you call after all that, they forget all the negative scenarios. The only time it's failed me was the time I actually forgot and called her back after like a week h:
Of course, there are exceptions, but those are few and far between, and you will KNOW, not question, that it's OK to call the next day.
Just call the next night........but not the same day you got the # that's all........if she didn't want you to use the # then she wouldn't have given it to you.
There's no sense getting worked up over a woman, even if she's hot. If she's hot, she knows it. So in all reality she's probably got plenty of candidates and I agree with the old man.
YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN HER HOME AND RODE HER TO THE BOX SPRINGS.
It's only the NEXT MORNING when you'll really know whether or not she REALLY IS HOT when U wake up next to her.
