I like how after 6pm Chinatown is totally dead and most of the stores/restaurants are all boarded up ready for the black people roaming around at night. h:

What's your least favorite part about living in Oakland?

I like the diversity. I always find myself near people with interesting stories to tell. Also, the food here is great. Sadly, when people think of Oakland, they think of the crime. I am not going to deny that the city is full of it, but it also has its great parts that you only can experience by living here for a long time. The characteristics of Oakland / Bay Area made me the person I am. I've never lived anywhere else. And if given a choice, probably wont want to.

Its true. Once the shops close, the homeless (generally blacks) roam around Chinatown. Theres like 3-4 resturants that stay open late. And its not safe in Chinatown at night h: I wouldnt hang out there without my clique :uhhok:

The crime and the whole "hyphy" culture thats popular now. Crime is a given. And the whole hyphy stuff has got to stop. They are praising the ideas of "getting dumb".
