I love California. I love Oakland. h:
More so of being robbed and harassed.

Nick name? Oakland was named for its Oak trees.
Havent seen a single one. The breakdown of Asians on this street is Chinese and Vietnamese. Oh and a Mien family on the corner.

I dont know of any direct influences for a couple reasons. I was too young when they were very active, and I am not black. As for any indirect influences, I am not too familiar with any of their work. h:

Also, growing up...I was mostly confined to Chinatown. That in itself has a culture much different than the rest of Oakland. Once I moved and got out of Chinatown, I gotta say it opened up my eyes being around people of different colors.

All you have to do is walk onto International. Theres a lot of action going on there...especially that area of the blvd. And its not far from where the side shows use to be :uhhok:

I like how after 6pm Chinatown is totally dead and most of the stores/restaurants are all boarded up ready for the black people roaming around at night. h:
