Default Windows Vista Users: A Few ?'s

Should I upgrade my PC to Vista? It's compatible and all but a few questions need to be answered:

I have an AMD 64 3500+ with a 7800GT and 1gb of Ram
Where do I find drivers?
How well does it work?
Will my current xp programs be compatible? Specifically games, virus scanners, etc (any of the essentials).

I can back down to XP because the bugs were pissing me off. I was runing RC1 and when I hit sleep, sometimes it wouldn't go to sleep

I'm not sure if I'm going to go back since all the IBM programs don't work

you'll need another gig of ram if you're running the 64 bit version
