Windows Vista Users: A Few ?'s
First off Windows ME was a total bitch to do anything with PERIOD.
Second going from say Win 3.11 to Win95 was also challenging.
The biggest problem going from XP to Vista will be the change in filesystem format because iirc Vista drops the NTFS filesystem all together for another one.
Oh that and XP installed was only 1.5-2gb of room where Vista is like 15-20gb for the install so you'll also have to make sure you drive has the extra space

Werd. We did the same. When we first got it we kept it for a day or so. Then we wiped it and reinstalled it with no extra software. Then we went to 98.
Win 3.11 -> Win95 was a huge jump because of the same shit
Win 98 -> 2000 was also a big jump not so much of the interface, but what went on behind it and the filesystem.
Unfortunately Fat32 only allows upto 2gb file sizes and you require NTFS or a linux system to use files over 4gb in size which is most dvds copied and media like video editing and such.
For every new Windows releases is another MAJOR hurdle for us technicians when it comes to peoples computers cause its just something else for us to deal with and have to understand and have work.
