Windows Vista Users: A Few ?'s
what does the file system have to do with the average user?...
you can still run 2k and xp on fat.... vista runs on ntfs for now.
i guess its just a matter of opinion. when i was running vista, besides a few chages, i didnt notice a huge difference in using it.( besides the flashy interface)

I was using Vista for a while on my main computer at home (beta2), but it all of a sudden stopped being able to burn DVD's and was just becoming more of a PITA to use than I felt like dealing with. XP is back up... I got sick of seeing the solutions window tell me that the solution to the problem would be added to the final release of Vista. A.K.A. we know it's a problem and we'll fix it when we're good and ready in a release that you're going to have to buy if you want everything to work. No thanks.
I think the #1 question is.... whats the point/benefit/reason to "upgrade" to Vista?
XP works fine, Vista offers nothing really all that great really.
And the visuals.... absolutely SUCK compared to what you can get on Linux with XGL/Beryl.
