Ok you have a GSR right now so lets not stray from the main objective, you wanted a gsr and you got one that weighs less than a gsr teg so where's the problem?

Respectfully, I'm gonna have to disagree. You'll encounter more headaches doing modifications, than a straight forward swap. My opinion anyway. h:

I pulled my engine, rebuilt the block (less bore and hone) and head without many problems. I'd say the easiest part was removing it.

I would assume that snoopy already did a swap in his civic, unless he paid somebody, so I doubt he'd have any issues doing a GSR to LS swap. The bottom line is how much work your willing to do, in order to get more for your money.

The salvage titled Civic has run its course.

I have a hard enough time justifying the money to turbocharge my DC4... so I can relate to your predicament.

If the B18C1 from the Civic is in good condition, swap it to a 94-97 DC4, get it BAR'd and continue with your build.

That way, you get a clean title DC Integra for a decent price and don't lose out on the potential of the B18C1 when built.

My 2.7¥. h:

you all make good points. i just like the dc chassis more. always have. i even tried to get my brother to sell me his gsr, but no dice. bastard. h: and all my friends have civics. 2 other ex coupes like mine, one with an lsvtec that whoops on me all the time, and 1 ek.

i bought the civic with the swap already BAR'd. at the moment it needs new axles and a new tranny. other than that it runs fine. it's just the salvaged title has me a little worried. i dont know what caused it to be salvaged. the guy i bought it from said he got into an accident with it. but how bad it was i dont know. doesnt seem to be any frame damage, drives straight. :dunno: but judging from the info he omitted from me about the tranny, im not really believing his fender bender story.
