Respectfully, I'm gonna have to disagree. You'll encounter more headaches doing modifications, than a straight forward swap. My opinion anyway.

I pulled my engine, rebuilt the block (less bore and hone) and head without many problems. I'd say the easiest part was removing it.
I would assume that snoopy already did a swap in his civic, unless he paid somebody, so I doubt he'd have any issues doing a GSR to LS swap. The bottom line is how much work your willing to do, in order to get more for your money.
