Default Subwoofer hookup?

I just blew my second subwoofer in like 2 weeks... the first one lasted about 8 months, now my second one lasted a week... i got the same subwoofer both times. Could there be a screwup in my wires or something? or is it because this subwoofer came from walmart

by the way i have a rockford fosgate 200 watt amp powering it.

If the rms is 150 it can handle 200. But then again it's a wal mart sub.

You can't just buy any woofer and amp and expect it to work right....there's factors you have to consider such as the right amp selection for a subwoofer, might overpower or underpower....is it a SVC or a DVC, do you wire it in series or in parallel, etc.....

No, it's a Pioneer sub, it just happens to be sold by walmart.
