haha, i didnt act like a punk at all. I definately didnt fly into their parking lot or act like a juvenile. I just think they thought i couldnt afford it. The guy at lincoln treated me real well tho.

well what were you wearing? I've never had trouble at any dealer wearing a nice shirt tucked into slacks and dress shoes.

well if it means that much to you, i had a polo on with jeans and a pair of brown shoes. But that doesnt matter, they are there to provide a service and they should dress up to win the customers trust not the other way around. But yeah, if i had a shirt and tie on i bet they would think i was older and probably not smirk so much

but they're not obligated to give you the time of day, they can sell cars to whoever they please. they get tons of kids in every day looking for joy rides and they probably thought you were no different plus the more you befriend the salesman the easier it tends to be to turn a good deal.

yeah that's very true.

As for facial hair, I think the apple2's had more pixels than i have hairs on my face; but a good suggestion.

When I was in the market for a car I liked to go into the dealership wearing my work clothes


They didn't treat me any differently than anyone else on the lot, mebbe it was the fact that I was asking a lot of questions h:
