i had 3 pulled when i got out of high school in 03. the 4th took the place of a rear upper molar that i had pulled to make room for my braces back in 5th gr.

impacted means they're stuck and won't come out naturally.

 

ok all done and just woke up from a 6 hour nap! no pain yet but im gonna take 2 more vicodins! i took 2 b4 i went in on my own to prevent any pain but the whole provedure lasted 30 mins the worse part was the novacaine shot to my guns then b4 he started he asked if i still felt pain chick i didnt but i said yes and he gave me more novacaine. :chuckes: i said yes just to make sure i felt nothing

oh and btw i only have 3 molars so i got 2 taken out today will get the last when i heal

:chuckles: sounds good man. I remember when I had surgery on my mouth I remember them giving me laughing gas and it was amazing. I remember during the surgery when i was all fucked up I would look at my legs and they were just waving in the air . And i was listening to howard stern and he was talking about five million words a minute. It was awesome

 

I love the gas! When I had knee surgery, they made me count to ten. I made it to 3.

 

yea i ws pretty chill since i took 2 vicodin b4 i went in and they gave me valume at the office so i was half asleep! lol

 

i had 3 removed... they had me on the GAS, IV, and anesthetic. The surgery went fine, but i guess some food got stuck in the gap, and it got infected/swollen after a few days. They had to cut it open and drain it :barf:

I'm getting all 4 extracted in less than 2 weeks. I told them I wanted to be completely knocked out. I hate dental work. :noes:

 

Mine were removed. All 4 were impacted, but I didn't even need to take the pain killers I was given. I was lucky. My wife on the other hand was on vicodin for a week.

I have to get a root canal on tuesday
I hate the dentist!!!

 

My lower ones came in no problem. My upper ones have yet to break through, though I never heard from my dentist about removal so bleh.

I do hate the dentist though.
