Default I'm shopping for another beater.

The EK Hatch will be sold to a friend of mine early next week. I'm looking for something with much more room, and very dependable for under $6000. I think an older 4Runner would fit the bill, I'm just not finding too many online.

This one is up on Autotrader but I've left voice messages and even an email but no response.

Tomorrow I'll prolly drive around and look, maybe I'll get lucky and find a good deal. h:

It doesn't necessarily have to be, that one just caught my eye. And is well maintained.

you'd think with the economy the way it is they would be lined up on the street side for sale.

Um, isn't a beater supposed to be less thirsty at the pump? :hsugh:

^True, but I've got a company car that I drive into work. I just have to drive 10 minutes from my house to one of office locations where it is parked everyday. So no real heavy driving, not too concerned about the MPG.

There are several 86-89's on the market, I just don't want anything that old. And 15mpg isn't bad for the little amount of driving I do.

I found this DA locally. Apparently it's in great shape, 9/10 interior, CD Player new speakers, 5 Spd, GS with 140k original. He wants $4500 OBO though.
