I'm shopping for another beater.

I wish I could find an unmodded one with low miles locally.

There are millions of those around here, but they all have big chrome rims and chrome trim around everything. h:

you should just buy a cheap new car. The price you're paying for beaters is really starting to add up.

drop 3G's down on a fit, pay like $220 a month for 5 years and leave it at that.

or pay a little more for a beater that's not going to crap out in a month.

btw, why not just use the company car all the time?

Not really, I usually pay less for them than what I turn around and sell them for. I am looking at vehicles above $6000 now though. Fits are okay, just not for me and I'm staying away from a new car at the moment until I refinance my house next year. So I just need something for the time being that I may possibly keep.

It's a marked vehicle (company logo) and my association doesn't allow them to be parked in front of your house.

if it's not marked on the glass ... I'd just get a big ole custom magnet to slap over the markings.

:chuckles: These are big markings. I really don't want any of the neighbors knowing where I work, people automatically assume "cable guy" when they hear of my company's name.
