How come we never happy?
It sea,s like we always want something more out of life. Take me for example, i have the opportunity to leave here start over travel a shi load yet i am still unhappy cause of the girl. her she has a great family, wonderfull friends, had a boyfriend that loves her and took care of her yet it seams like we are always unhappy of what we have. single peeps want to be in a relationship, commited peeps want to be single. why are we doing this what is it that makes us go like thins...
tough question. look around man. can you trully just sit around and realx without thinking "holy shit how am i going to pay for that" i think we are just stressed out too much. our pressident, our economy, and those damn terrorists dont make things easier for us, look at me for instant. got a girl that i love more than anything. shes single now, BF cheated on her, so you ask why dont i go for it and tell her i like her. nope cant, got bussiness to take care of, school, family, the car, so i might have money and all but im still so stressed out and unhappy. really hard to explain why we cant be happy.
3am here and cant sleep, so I'll chime in
I think the reason why many people, including myself at times, aren't happy is simply because we are constantly changing and unsure of what we want out of life. Sure, we all want to make millions, having a stable career, a trophy wife, loving family and great kids. Achievable, yes. But, what do we do once we get there? We're cultured to always want a bit more and not knowing how to simply enjoy the moment, living the moment.
Motivations and goals can be double-edged swords. We've learned to aim and to achieve, but what do you do when you don't get there? What do you do once you get there? What do you do when you're all burned out and have no desire to get "there"?
I've missed out on many things in life by simply thinking a bit too much about the goals and often forget about the road/s getting there. It's probably best just to live and be appreciative.
Easier said than done though.
*no, not high*
