F\/ck you Sprint!!
i used to be a strategy analyst in the wireless industry and GSM is more adopted around the world (except the US - stupid reasons why GMS phones can't be global on one network) but at the time CDMA was a better wireless technology.
please note that I changed fields of expertise and no longer follow up on wireless - I'm not sure anymore as to that but know that the mobile broadband that Sprint has is on average 5x faster than Cingular or Verizon sometimes up to 20x faster
the most reliable network was the i-DEN technology (Nextel) but it was not capable of 3g upgrades but worked great as a cellular provider (my current phone is a nextel crackberry and I love it)

I noticed the following on my monthly statement:
"Effective Oct. 1, 2006, Sprint will charge $0.15 per message for casual domestic and international text messages sent or received.
Sprint will charge $0.03/KB for casual data usage."
Per their own terms and conditions:
"If we change a material term of the Agreement and that change has a material adverse effect on you, you may terminate the Agreement without an early termination fee by calling 1-888-211-4727 within 30 days after
the invoice date of the first invoice you receive after the changes go into effect."
So I called and was able to cancel my contract without and ETF (while I still had 1.5 year to go on my contract).

So we say that the charges have changed and we don't want to be with Sprint anymore?
Okay, so I guess casual date use is internet, sending and recieving picture mail and roaming. After about 5 minutes of hitting the internet button, it finally worked. So now that I have some extra charges, I should hopefully be able to get out of our contract.
But, will I have to wait for our next bill? Cause thats gay.
