Default Next mod. Need your opinions.

House mod.

The first shot is my next door neighbors patio. The carpet munchers had it up for sale for about a month and I snapped this while it was vacant. Anyway, I want my patio extended out like this.

How much do you think it will cost? I'm already awaiting a quote but wanted to ask around so I want get ripped off.

What I want.

And my current small ass patio. It's 3' x 8' currently, so they would need to break that out. The area I want concreted is 10' x 25'. I was only able to get a partial pic of that area so the Green line would actually extend past the areas marked in the shot.

Yea that's what I want it for. Patio furniture, Grill, and a small fire pit ftw!

randy, you should trench out the area ... lay some locking patio bricks and call it a day.

I've taken that into consideration too. I'm sure I could rent one of those jackhammers to break up the existing patio. Then just dig the area I want concreted, line everything up and put down a wood frame, fill it with concrete and smooth it out.

I'm just worried about fucking up. h:

it's just ground. you cant mess up too bad and if you do, just redo it. it's not like a car with moving parts h:

what you have now isn't a patio....that's a floor mat

if i was guessing, i'd say 500-1000 by the time you figure in the prep work, materials & labor :dunno:

i'd definatley agree on the target idea too......that place & lowes have sucked up a major bit of my disposible income since i got my new place :hahano:
