That's true.... unless of course you're under the influence of something else... but yeah, even if you've had more than one drink in less than an hour it is still possible to pass the field sobriety test. In fact alcoholics can do it with astronomical blood alcohol levels. It is concievable that if you're getting a sobriety test you are being considerend for apprehension though.

 

Back in the day in Montreal me and friend Phil were coming back from a strip club and hit a check point. The cops asked Phil if he had been drinking, and he said yea. Probably 3 - 4 beers in a few hours.


I was in teh passenger seat because I DEF couldnt drive. They had him blow 3 times and each time it came up as 0.00% BAC. They were getting pissed cause he told them he had been drinking, and I guess they wanted to take him in. After like 20mins they just let us go and said drive safe.
