i guess i would agree that a tax on blank cds that went to the artists isnt a bad idea.. but i would never want to pay it

 

I've purchased plenty of blank cd's that I didn't even use for any audio, I don't want music artists getting my money because I want to copy some new Windows OS or something. h:

But really, it's just stupid. It doesn't support artists, it supports record labels and recording industries. Band Y isn't always going to get the money if it's their music I put on the cd. What if Band X was getting the money but I was putting Band Y on the cd. That's not fair. It's not realistic either, bands don't deal with the money, they just get paid.

The deals are made by the record companies and recording industry. They are the ones that would get the money.

i hear ya, i didnt put my system in my civic i just got and man..theres days a song pops on my sirius and im like oh oh oh and try to turn it up when i realize i just have a stock system and feel stupid..

 

yeh.. the day that i have to take everything out to put in a new car is gonna suck. im not used to going to bed without my ears ringing h:

 

i htought i would be ok without my system, now i miss the bass, i dont turn it up crazy but just the little i had was enough to make me realize now that stock is def lacking when u really like to hear the music

 

its like night and day, ill never be able to go back to stock

 

im almost there to switchin it out, i just dont like how aftermarket headunits look in the 02 civics....going to do somesort of concealed mounting and wiring i do believe....so you dont even know the aftermarket unit is there.
