sounds to me like a blown Power Supply. Aren't the cpu power and the accessory power cords seperate circuits? If so, your fans, cd eject etc would work, but the cpu (different power cord) won't...

I'm thinking power supply too. Mine blew, and had enough power to run the whole system, minus my graphics card. Once i put the card in, nothing.

well thats great, because this is a proprietary power supply, i can't just replace it.

the thing is that the mobo is getting some power, because the keyboard lights up and the mobo controled fans and GPU fans come on.

Power Supplies are flaky. Here is a good article for troubleshooting:

another thing to keep in mind, the different pins power different things....the CPU part may be bad, but the keyboard/fans etc might be fine.

At this point I'd start swapping parts with known working ones. Take out all expansion cards even the graphics and hard drive floppy cdrom etc.

Have only the basics plugged in, cpu, ram, power, status LEDs/switch , keyboard. Litterally nothing else. See if you get some beeps. If not, then I'd look at replacing ram or trying the ram in another pc.

Of course that's easy for me to say, I have more than a dozen pc's in my computer room. h:

Try booting it up w/o ram also. that'll give you beeps. (3 I think). if it doesnt, you know it is motherboard / ps...

Try this.

1. Power down & Ungplug power cord
2. Remove CMOS battery
3. Remove Memory sticks and Graphic cards
4. Set jumper to source out all the remaining batteries or wait a very very long time.
5. With memory and CMOS battery out, insert power cord & reinstall gfx card and try to power on. It should beeps, if not, Mobo is fried.
6. Repeat step 1 and 4.
7. Reinsert jumper to correct position.
8. Reinstall 1 mem stick (if you had two).
9. Reinstall CMOS battery.
10. Power on.
11. If it works, repeat 1,2,8,9,10.

If it still doesn't work. Repear the same procedures, however, for step 8, try using other mem sticks from other PC.
