you can try removing the cpu with the sink attached... but make sure you remove any brackets holding the sink down.

dont apply much force since you my damage the board.

i took the sink off and then took the cpu out, there was no sign of anything bad there, i cleared my mouth of saliva and blew out a little dust... but there wasnt much at all

the PC in our house was doing that because of a power outage. I unplugged everything from it. Opened it and blew around. Let it sit for a little. Plugged everything back and it worked

this did nearly the same thing last year, i hit it and it worked fine.

i think it might be the GPU... mer....

i guess its mobo dependent.... since ive booted one without one a few years ago



head down to a computer store and buy the cheapest pci card there? :dunno:
