she can walk very slowly with a walker but it gets better every day. i just wish she wasn't in so much pain from having to sit in a wheel chair instead of an orthapedic chair.

heres your answer. this is the dept. that regulates hospital conditions and patient care. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agency_...ch_and_Quality

You see, they set up these agencies as a comfort blanket. The people think that you give them a case and they'll take care of it. However, like most US agencies, there is this huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge long bureaucratic paper shuffle that will go on for years before anyone sees that case again.

The healthcare lobbyists are very good at keeping things to a slow crawl.

still worth a try right? you might be surprised i know i was when i had a problem with my old land lord. i thought that calling the "régie du logement" (govermental housing agency) would mean i would have to stay on the phoen aand bitch for hours but i was surprised at how quickly the resolved the problem. That is of course if the Agency has any power...

update:
hospital director personally apologized for the happenings over the weekend and now she basicly gets personal care by her doctor. The nurse with the issues apologized to my mom and was spoken to by the director (guess my dad overheard some and she got bitched out pretty bad) I feel better now atleast.
