Well yeah, that goes for every quarterback, which is why I'm saying he's overrated. Do you know how many teams saw that the Steelers were run heavy and still couldn't stop them?

A good QB can be just as important as a good running back in the running game. Through counters and options the QB runs the show and makes his best decision of where the ball goes, and who it goes to. Tell me again you can throw anybody in this position and succeed.h:

The thing about Ben is that he could see that a defense was designed directly to stop the run. Being he is a greatly skilled player, he could pass the ball where it needed to be, dominating defenses.

In a setup like Pittsburgh's, I still think a decent quarterback can succeed. I'd like to see Roethlisberger in a setup that lacks a solid offensive line and see how he does.

anyone find it ironic that he plays a sport where safety is emphasized (head gear, body padding, etc.), and then he gets on a bike and rides with no helmet?

moron.

deadman walking.

He doesn't have the speed to evade a pass rush. He'd be nothing more than a gigantic target.

Any quarterback that lacks a solid offensive line will fail, even if he can throw the ball a mile.

Part of the reason I think he's overrated.

You wear a helmet for a living, why not use one riding?
