I just found out that a friend of mine from back home in New England was arrested for drunk driving. He crossed the center and line and hit someone head on, killing a pregnant woman and her unborn child. It totally shocked me because he never was the type to be stupid enough to drive drunk. So the next time you're drinking, please don't drive. One bad decision like that can ruin your life and those of others.

 

holy shit, that's horrible. I bet he feels so bad. I'm not sure I could live with myself if I did something like that.

 

Holly shit. That's horrible. Weird.. Grey's Anatomy had an episode about a crash and a pregnant lady. Baby survived, but she didn't. The med student that fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into her car wanted to ask the father for forgiveness. One of the most powerful moments on tv I've ever witnessed. Doesn't compare to what your friend is going through in real life, but I hope he has people around him that can help him forgive himself for that.

My dad is an alcoholic and I have seen him drive blitzed and because of that I have no feelings for anyone who drives drunk and gets caught. taking out another car, life, family etc. just makes it that much worse and I hope his balls fall off and he chokes on them

 

I've promised my self to never drink and drive. I've on floors, in cars, breezeways, just so I didn't have to drive. I've seen too many people I know throw their lives away for that shit. I also have no remorse for people who drink and drive.

 

I can understand that. My friend's younger sister was killed by a drunk driver in highschool. I was actully hit by one riding my elite 150 in high school, too. I got lucky. She didn't. I hear you. Loud and clear. h:

 

i have to admit that i drinked one tequilla sunrise and drove after...boy was i concentrated in staying within the lines.
