One of the advantages to living downtown as I've mentioned before: there are 58 bars within walking distance of my apartment. Can't drive drunk if I didn't drive there in the first place.

somtimes good people make fawk up decisions...
I had a good friend of mine (i worked with) do the same thing down here in diego...
i was at a party with him and offerd to drive him home... he said ok, then left. the next day when i got to work, My boss came up to me and told me he killed 3 people.... (and not to talk to the media)
I remeber his family asking me to testfiy at his trial that he was a good guy.. i told them hell no!
it was his second drunk driving accident, and the fawker only got 13 years...

Man that's messed up. It's sad to think how selfish some people can be...ending someone's life just because you choose to make a poor decision. :sad:

It's a sucky situation. I want to be able to support him because he's my friend, but I want him punished for it. If it had been my family in the car, I'd want him dead, so I feel for the victim's family. Life's just not fair sometimes.

lost a friend of mine at xmas time. a drunk hit her as she was going to work and he was going home. she died, her baby lived and has severe brain damage. guy had no license, no insurance, old as dirt in his 40s and lives with his mommy.
