Ok so im back from the interview and i think i did great. I asked tons of questions and every question i asked i added how i have experience with it. I met up with 3 people...the last guy i met with basically went over what i already heard from the other 2...but it's cool. I was there from 4:30 - 6:20. It took me only a half hour with traffic to get home....
The place also pays for my training to get my certs and everything which is cool.

I always follow up with a phone call or letter saying something like "Thank you for the opportunity, blah blah, I'm looking forward to hearing from you." I've only had two jobs that required an interview and both times I did the letter and they employer has always responded with gratitude. It shows you have respect for the person and the company.

Definitely do the letter. I sent an email(to everyone I met with) right after(the next day) my last interview(got the job btw). It was faster and since you were there today, it will leave an impression. The fact you were there for a while is a promising sign. Just send a thank you letter and your good to go! If anything, you can send one letter to the hr person and ask them to thank the others you spoke to.

e-mail is definitely an acceptable way to follow up now, so definitely do that.

Bumped the thread because I needed some tips. :hs:

Anyway, I started interviewing people this year...I liked people who talked back and made conversation...though without getting off track. You gotta ask questions. And have a freaking personality. I didnt like the people who were stiffs. But I doubt these kind of tips are universal. It depends on the field you are interviewing for.
